Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need to reschedule or cancel appointments. At Hands On Health Care Clinic, we value your time and the time of our healthcare providers. To ensure efficient scheduling and the availability of appointments for all our patients, we have established the following cancellation policy:

  1. Advance Notice:
    • We kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment changes or cancellations. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient in need of care.
  2. Late Cancellations or No-Shows:
    • Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without prior notice will be considered late cancellations or no-shows.
    • A fee may be applied for late cancellations or no-shows. The specific fee will be outlined during the initial consultation or can be obtained by contacting our office.
  3. Emergency Situations:
    • We understand that emergencies can occur, and we will consider these situations on a case-by-case basis. Please communicate with our office as soon as possible if you are experiencing an emergency that prevents you from attending your scheduled appointment.
  4. Communication Channels:
    • To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact our office by phone at 9949 3017. You may also send an email to info@handsonhealthcare.com.au .
    • If you reach our voicemail, please leave a detailed message with your name, appointment date and time, and the reason for the cancellation.
  5. Recurring Late Cancellations or No-Shows:
    • In cases of recurring late cancellations or no-shows, we reserve the right to discuss the impact on your care plan and may request prepayment for future appointments.
  6. Refunds:
    • Fees for late cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable. These fees are intended to compensate for the time reserved for your appointment that could have been allocated to another patient.
  7. Appointment Confirmations:
    • To assist you in managing your appointments, we provide reminders via  email, or text message.
