Back pain during pregnancy is common. If you are looking for an effective drug free solution, then Chiropractic or Massage therapy could be the answer. The team at Hands On Health Care Clinic is always happy to offer pregnant woman the help they need during this exciting time of life.

Chiropractic care during pregnancy is to help maintain the integrity of the spinal column and your posture. The will help relieve the muscle and joint aches and pains that many women experience throughout their pregnancy. Chiropractic care is a natural alternative to pain relief medications. Chiropractic looks at the imbalances in your spine. It is a gentle non-invasive technique that will treat cause of your discomfort and not mask the symptoms. Chiropractic care has been shown to have no known contraindications during pregnancy. It is an effective way of reducing pain and improving posture. It helps to remove joint restrictions, allowing you to be as mobile as possible for the birth of your child.

As your pregnancy progresses your body and posture change. The increasing size of your bump will change your center of gravity. This will put excess pressure on your muscles, joints and spine. It is important to look after your spine whilst you are pregnant. Chiropractic will help reduce strain and excess pressure on your spine and joints. But you also need to exercise and stretch.
